Bio

Growing up in Vermont Tibby Iz was a performer from an early age, writing and performing plays, singing in various choirs and a cappella groups, and generally the center of attention wherever she went. She performed in countless school and regional theater productions, tackling everything from the role of Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Romaine Patterson in The Laramie Project.

Tibby minored in Theater at Skidmore College but her participation in the department was anything but minor. After graduation she continued her training at Stella Adler Studio in New York City. She also currently studies Improv and Sketch at Upright Citizens Brigade.

Tibby has had tremendous fortune in her professional acting career. Fresh out of college, she filmed her first supporting film role in the independent feature Zero Tolerance. Backstage wrote an article on Tibby and her work in the film, calling her a “born entertainer”. This summer Tibby's second feature, Trust Me starring Steve Dash, screened at the New York City International Film Festival. Last year Tibby relocated to Los Angeles in hopes of more film and television opportunities. She currently performs regularly with her improv group "50's Kitchen" and her sketch group "Tantric Sketch".

In her free time Tibby is quite adventurous and athletic. She has bungee jumped in New Zealand and skydived in Australia. She also loves kayaking, white water rafting, snowboarding, surfing, and yoga.
